WWDC June 2010: Now in SESSION!

It has only been minutes since the WWDC 10 event has started and Steve Jobs has now hit the stage. The WWDC 10 event has successfully started with Steve Jobs entertaining the audience with figures and numbers in regards to the iPad and its success. He exclaims that now over 2 million iPad’s have been sold.

An anchor video was also presented to individuals attending the  WWDC 10 event with iPads sold in many countries around the world . There has been about 8,500 native apps for iPads currently in store. Steve Jobs is keeping everyone mystified by first communicating the success of the iPad, iBooks, and other abilities of the iPad.

There are about 15,000 apps that are submiteed per week in the app store. With over 225,000 apps currently in store and 05% approved within 7 days, there are three reasons due to which the other 5% do not make it to the app store

This includes: if the app does not function, it uses private API’s, and if they crash.

The WWDC event has just started and within a few minutes Steve Jobs will slowly announce the other developments. STAY TUNED J!
