Ahh ! Got it going!

Get the itunes and usb logo up.
Plug it into the computer.
Close itunes.
Reinstalled blackra1n – but very importantly when it says DONE you have to WAIT -
You will see the pic of blackra1n on the iphone, until your iphone shows its normal start page dont do anything before that.
Will take 1 or 2mins.

That worked for me, now I should be able to skype on a mobile funk connection!

Looked but couldnt find any post from you.

After loading Blackra1n I am stuck in recovery mode. Can’t recover unless I update. Update wont download.

Am turning on with power and home botton till apple sign, then I let it go and it goes back to itunes USB pic. (recovery mode) After which I press off button until screen is black, and start the proccess over again, but still isnt working.

So i tried this i dowloaded black rain and hit make it rain the ppicture did not show and when i turned my ipod back on it did not show the black rain logo so idk whats wrong with it… can someone help me?

for all you people who blackra1n isn’t working for and upgraded to 3.1.3 . go to iclarified.com type in jailbreak 3.1.3 under search and follow the instructions exactly how your told and your phone will be jailbroken and unlocked!! even if your stuck where i was at the emergency phone call only and insert proper sim with pinlock error… since itunes obviously won’t read your phone skip step 2! it will work guranteed if you do it right!!

it is because the current black rain jailbreak is for the 3.1.2 firmware i made the same mistake updating my ipod but blackrain will soon jailbreak 3.1.3
